2023 | Washcloths

For me, home is like one of my white washcloths - on a fundamental level, I understand they came from a store, but they've always been around, and I don't remember picking them out. They're an inherent part of my home - most homes - and take a significant level of destruction to lose their value. What destroys a washcloth's value? Why do we cling to these tattered things?
